This is a close up of Eli discovering his hand. He LOVES his hands, so much so that pacifiers just don't cut it, much to his mother's chagrin.
At 6 weeks Eli joined us for a night on the town! He went to his first dinner and a movie in Chinatown with Jenny and Jessie. We thought he'd appreciate a hamburger his size, but he seemed a little disinterested. He was amazing during the movie, and slept the whole time!!
We've learned that being parents is all about multi-tasking. Here Jason blows out his birthday candle while feeding Eli a bottle! My mom was nice enough to babysit while we enjoyed a dinner out. :D
I've noticed that Eli never stops moving! Unless he is asleep, something is twitching, or kicking, or flailing, depending on his mood of course.
Eli's second month birthday was a little quieter than the first. He started sleeping through the night about now, so his mama looks a little more rested. :D
For my 30th birthday we went to a really yummy Italian restaurant. Here we are with Jessie, Brendan, and Millie.

Eli went on his first boat ride on Memorial Day. It is pretty funny all the places he can take a meal! It was a great day, though he did not sleep through it like I expected.
Eli is so lucky to have such a good uncle and cousin to take care of him. Here Brendan helps Millie hold Eli on Brendan's 10th birthday. Crazy, I remember when Brendan was that small!!
